"Lovers Who Haven't Met Yet"

If you've been following me for a while, you probably know that one of my goals in 2018 was to create BIGGER art. So far this year I've created a few big Mandalas. Now it's time to share my biggest 1980's inspired painting yet - a big 36 x 38 inch canvas! I named this one "Lovers Who Haven't Met Yet"

I really do have a lot of fun working in this style. When I create a Mandala, once the pattern is created, that's pretty much the outline for me to follow. When I'm working in this style, I can be a bit more spontaneous with the way I add different shapes and details throughout the whole process as I'm creating it.

For this one I didn't really take any work in progress shots other than this one, I just wanted to focus on getting it done! My favorite part of creating a painting is when I stand back and look at it on the wall for the first time.

Once it was done I took it outside to get a nice picture in the natural sunlight. I chose the name "Lovers Who Haven't Met Yet" because the orange/bluegreen/yellow part and the purple/mint green part made me think of searchlights, missing each other in the dark, but destined to cross paths eventually.

If you'd like to feel the excitement of having it hang on your wall for the first time, it is available @ https://www.nexusvisions.com/product-page/lovers-who-haven-t-met-yet-36-x-48-inch-acrylic-painting

Here's a picture I took of it indoors, and from a bit closer up. I hope you enjoy the vibes, let me know what you think in the comments below!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, stay tuned for more new art coming soon! I've been working on a cool custom one that I'm almost ready to share. In the meantime have an awesome day! -Adam
