"A New Beginning" was the first Mandala I painted in 2013. It's 33 x 33 inches, acrylic paint on canvas. I painted it right after I got back from a trip to Mexico. The colors and designs were inspired by the many colorful tiles and murals I saw all over the area. It seemed to me like there was art everywhere I went in Mexico. When I told people I was an artist, they asked me all about what I did and wanted to see my work. It was nice to be in an area where people are so interested in and receptive to art!
