I painted this one in 2015, it's 18 x 18 inches, acrylic paint on canvas. I love the way "fire colors" - oranges ,reds, yellows - and watery blues play off each other, I find each one makes the other pop more. I decided to do a painting with just oranges, yellows,reds and blues. Once it was done I thought it looked almost like flames mixed with flowing water, so that's where I got the idea for the name.
